空调用制冷技术属于普通制冷范围，主要是采用液体汽化制冷法。（主要是利用液体汽化过程要吸收比潜热，而且液体压力不同，其沸点也不同，压力越低，沸点越低。）根据热量从高温物体向低温物体转移的不同方式，可分为：蒸气压缩式制冷、吸收式制冷。
